Local Country Music Bands for Hire:

Georgia Parker

https://www.georgiaparkermusic.com
https://www.instagram.com/georgiaparkermusic/
I DJed a wedding in Wimberley where Georgia put together a trio of musicians to play the couple's ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner. I often go two-stepping when she plays around Austin, especially at Jo's Coffee on South Congress. Georgia mostly plays Western Swing, a sub-genre of traditional country music that incorporates jazz, blues, and cowboy songs. My favorite songs that she's recorded are "Why Can't It Be Me?," "Don't Count Your Chickens", and "A Cowboy's Life."

Silo Road
siloroadband@gmail.com
https://www.instagram.com/siloroadatx/
I go see these guys every Sunday at The White Horse at 8pm. They play some fantastic covers including "I'm Going Down" by Freddie King and "Oh! Sweet Nuthin'" by The Velvet Underground. My favorites of their original songs are "Last Call Love," "Texas Not Tennessee," and "Sweet Katie Bell."

Beth Chrisman

She fiddles, sings, and plays guitar beautifully. She writes incredible songs and stands up for what's right. Everyone in the Austin music community loves Beth. Go see her play Tuesdays at 8pm at The White Horse.
